Family photographs belonging to the descendants of Freeman Bull an employee of nearly 50 years has been acquired by the Friends and donated to the Springfield Armory. Freeman Bull was a machinist at Springfield Armory between 1860 and 1910 and was instrumental in the development of the Bennington site used in the Trapdoor rifle.
