The Friends of Springfield Armory National Historic Site has been asked by the managers of the website Forge of Innovation to take over operation of the content and ownership of the domain. The Board voted unanimously in October of 2021 to accept the offer.
Forgeofinnovation.org is a depository of academic content that was built over many years by Springfield Technical Community College and the University of Massachusetts.
